Connect your headset to your newer cell phone using Avcomm's cell phone adaptor. Allows you to have conversations on your cell phone through your headset. Gold plated plug for improved conductivity. Must be connected to an aircraft intercom to work.
Note: Can only be used in conjunction with an aviation intercom that is connected to the aircraft and in use. A cell phone connected to a handheld radio is not powerful enough to power the microphone and speakers on the headset.

AVCOMM P2021 CELL PHONE ADAPTER
Concept is great but it's too quiet. Even with my phone at maximum volume it's difficult to hear the phone conversation - and that's in an airliner flight deck on the ground with the engines off. I find myself using my earbuds instead. A shame, really. They would have been ideal for me if I could only hear well enough what's said!
